Hello! I'm Anna and Zumba® Gold is my passion!

I teach Zumba® Gold, Zumba® Gold Chair – which is seated Zumba® Gold – and a class for young adults with special needs. I now teach more Zumba® Gold classes than anyone else on the Kapiti Coast.

I absolutely love teaching Zumba® Gold because every class feels like a party with dear friends! I love the beautiful community we have created over the past couple of years and really feel that I have the best job in the world.

I am registered with the Live Longer for Stronger movement, which means that my classes are approved as being suitable for increasing strength and balance in people over 65 years old.

My Gold classes are for everyone! Gold does not mean old! You may be a young at heart older active adult, or new to Zumba, pregnant, or recovering from illness or injury. Come and join me: I guarantee you will have fun, make new friends, and feel fitter :).

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

Who can come to Anna’s Zumba Gold classes?

Zumba Gold is for everyone and everyone is welcome at my Zumba Gold classes. They are designed for those that prefer low impact, lower intensity exercise and a little bit of disco!

Do I need a vaccine pass to participate?

No, you do not.

How do I enroll for Anna’s Zumba Gold classes?

No need to enroll or book classes, you can just turn up and pay cash each session. Or, you can also make an internet payment or purchase a 10-session ticket. For more information see purchases.

What do I wear for Anna’s Zumba Gold classes?

Wear comfortable clothes that you can stretch and move in, trainers or comfortable shoes, and bring a water bottle and towel (yes, you may sweat, especially in the warmer months).

Does it matter if I have health conditions?

Always check with your Dr before attending if you have any health concerns. Otherwise, move at your own pace and do as much as you are able. I always say that the main thing is that you are moving, enjoying the music and having fun :). I also teach Zumba Chair if you have physical limitations which make it hard for you to stand for a class. This class is great for muscle strengthening.

‘In early 2019 I was fortunate to discover Zumba Gold classes with Anna. I was overweight and had two hip replacements. What a joy to attend my first class and discover a whole new world of dance created by Anna. The music was catchy, the routines creative and Anna exuded empathy with a beautiful smile throughout the class. Her class members were welcoming and inclusive.
